Effect of software development course on programming self-efficacy

چکیده
Abstract Negative attitudes and perceptions on programming impair the effectiveness of learning skills. In this study attitude related to programming, problem solving, self-views importance IT/programming knowledge were assessed by pre- post-test completed at beginning end a software development course. The was conducted using an online questionnaire four different dimensions measured survey consisting 23 items. results show positive moderate associations between self-commitment in solving algorithmic ability negative weak relationship with lack self-confidence programming. K-means algorithm showed that students could be classified into two main groups stronger weaker case both clusters, it possible achieve change greater can observed attitudes, which considered important result from point view research presented article proves influenced direction those stronger, but even more so attitudes.
